Refurbished Jura Impressa C5 – fresh-ground espresso for less than a pod machine costs to run
The Jura Impressa C5 is the no-frills member of the Impressa family: a proper conical grinder, Jura's variable brewing unit with pre-brew aroma, a 1.9 L tank and a two-cup function, controlled by a dial and a text display. Milk is manual via the steam wand (or the optional Easy Auto Cappuccino frother), which suits people who mostly drink espresso and long black.
Refurbished, the C5 is the cheapest way to get fresh-ground bean-to-cup coffee from a machine that will last. Ours are resealed, descaled, grinder-serviced and tested, with a 12-month parts and labour warranty from our Melbourne workshop.
Espresso and long-black drinkers, students, holiday houses, workshops and anyone replacing a pod machine who wants real coffee without complexity.
If you want one-touch milk drinks, the C9 or J9 from the same era do that; the E6 is the modern equivalent.

Our refurbishment notes
Every machine goes across the bench and gets the same work before it is listed.
Replaced as standard. The brew unit is replaced. Every seal and O-ring in the machine is renewed, pump seals included. The steam assembly is completely refitted with all of its seals replaced.
Pressure tested, and replaced if it fails. The pumps are resealed and pressure tested, and replaced if they are not performing — either way the machine leaves here pumping properly. The ceramic valve is pressure tested and replaced if it does not hold. Every sensor is checked for correct resistance and replaced if the reading is out. The grinder is recalibrated and its brushes renewed, and if extraction still is not where it should be, the grinder itself is replaced.
Stripped and cleaned. Boilers are descaled and flushed. The water circuit and flow control are stripped and cleared of any debris. The whole system is flushed through, and the machine is cleaned and vacuumed out inside and out.
Then it is run and tested with real coffee before we sign it off.
One honest note about that: you may find a few coffee grounds in the machine when it arrives. A little always stays in the hopper channel through testing and transport. It is not a sign the machine was not cleaned — it is a sign it was tested.
Cosmetic condition. These are used machines and some of them look it. Expect scuffs, light scratches and general wear on the casing, panel and drip tray. Before your machine ships we photograph the actual unit you are buying, marks and all, and send you a short video of it running. What you see is what arrives.
